Challenge #2: The Whistle
Wait, what?
Yeah, I have to give a small update on this one. In the past few weeks I’ve had oft opportunities to whistle very loudly, which I failed miserably. In turn, however, I realized I did make progress on whistling with my fingers; I was actually making a sound.
I feel like I’m on the verge of it, but still can’t find the sweet spot where I could bl.. whistle harder and produce an actual, loud, finger whistle.
The frustration I’ve felt made me want to practice it more often. Stay tuned.
Challenge #6: Straddle Press to Handstand
I successfully held a 15 seconds balance! Sad I didn’t catch it on video, but I’m pretty sure you’ll have a 10-second hold proof soon, at least. 5 seconds are becoming much more consistent.
Still practicing the Frog Stand Press Hold, and getting progressively more control. I haven’t been able to get a solid 2 seconds yet, though. Not far off.
As a way to still progress on the intensity (i.e. resistance) of my handstand push-ups, I started doing some with an elevation. Here’s how it looks:
The video cannot be shown at the moment. Please try again later.
Each inch I add to the RoM (Range of Motion) is that much more challenging to complete, so don’t underestimate the apparently small difference. Progress is Progress.
Challenge #10: The Picletters
No new pics this week; I’m actually struggling to find my last 3 letters.
K, M and N remain, and surprisingly, I can’t seem to find any satisfying subject for any of them. I’m so close though, it can’t be very long before I finally get to FINISH IT.
