Voilà! I am not a masked man. Therefore, Who am I?

I will try to be brief. My name is Mathieu Duchesneau (“Matthew Doo-chay-no”), and one of my most prominent characteristics is an inherent interest in almost every possible topic. Except perhaps most topics that are rather brainless, or without any form of challenge or achievement stimuli. (Then again…)
In addition to that, I have discovered over time that my ability to learn, practice and progress matches my interests most coincidentally.

I have had a love and hate relationship with this characteristic throughout my life. If I like everything, what do I do?

The answer I have found so far is rather simple: To do as much as is humanely conceivable in the 24/7 timespan format which I currently live in.

These days, here are the looks of it:

  • Working full-time in IT Engineering
  • Practicing Spanish, my next language target is Mandarin
  • Physically training for the sports and discipline I practice, and strength/health/looks in general
  • Practicing the discipline of Parkour
  • Long-time martial artist in many styles; although currently, practice is less frequent
  • Tending to this blog and its associated challenges
  • Yes, I also have a social life.

OK, so some say humanely might not be the best word. This is for humans to decide, I guess.

    hey Mat its Dustin, I think that ill join you for a few of these challenges if you let me. Right now im kind of overwhelmed with school but things should steady down come the the winter so ill have more time then. Of course we’ll find time to do the usual Parkour training but i think that what you’re doing is interesting and id like to try some of it too. Let me know.
