Challenge #4: Island Biker

Submitted by: Vincent Roy

Description:

“As your kung-fu partner, it is my duty to give you a physical challenge! It’s also quite convenient to me, as I haven’t done it for a while and it will revive memories for sure! Here goes:

Your challenge is to make, this summer, a tour of the whole Montreal Isle (literally). That is, start from sowhere close to the river, go left and follow the water edge until you get back from the other side.

Il shall accompany you in this challenge! I have made it twice while in High School, and it really is something! There are places on the island where you would never believe being in Montreal.

A cycling path is available pretty much all the way. The distance is approx. 130Km, so I suggest doing a couple of rides by yourself before going through this!

As proof for your readers, you will need:
- a picture from Pointes-Aux-Trembles
- another from Pierrefonds
- one from Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue
- and one from Canal Lachine.”

Comments: This one is going to be so cool! Let’s ride it out this summer for sure… moreover, it’ll be an occasion for me to learn much about Montreal’s many areas :)

Challenge #5: The Male Singer with a Female Voice (or the other way around)

Submitted by: Mr. St-Charles

Description:

“Here’s what will most likely be a pretty funny challenge for you!

You will need to go in a karaoke and sign “I Will always love you” from Witney Houston.

Requirements:

- The place must be reasonably filled with people
- You must know the song and sing so we really hear you ( so, no cheating such as muttering the lyrics )
- You’ll have to be singing alone, of course!

PS: Don’t worry, you can bring friends along :P

Comments: TOO funny. Must not be scared of looking silly!

Challenge #7 : Beautiful Valentine

Submitted by: Peggy

Description:

“Ok so the challenge consists of 2 parts:

Part 1) Learn how to say “You’re Beautiful” (in the feminine form for languages where there’s a distinction) in 14 different languages. You can use English and French as 2 of the 14, but you have to learn at least one language from each continent.

Part 2) So for the sake of this to work out properly…you must complete part 1 by Valentine’s day. Then on that much dreaded day for single gals (that care about such a ridiculous “holiday” :P ) you will go up to either 1 girl and say the phrase in all 14 languages to her OR say the phrase in each language to 14 different girls.

Try to choose single girls who otherwise wouldn’t have a bf to say this to them…plus it’ll be much more appreciated and less considered a creepy pick up line :)  Extra Credit Points if you manage not to get slapped while completing part 2 :P

Comments: Brilliant! I’m nervous already…

Challenge #10 : The PicLetters

Submitted by: Patrick

Description:

Another photo challenge, but my buddy Patrick wanted to add a touch of artistry. This time, I need to search and find letters in objects around me, and take a picture. For example, an orange might make me think of the letter “O” (but don’t worry, I’ll try to come up with something better). I need one picture for each letter of the alphabet, which makes for 26 pictures. Of course they all have to be taken by myself, bla bla bla.

It’s brought in the spirit of making me look at ordinary things a different way. Therefore I might add a thought or two to some of these pics if anything pops in my head. Imagination time!
