Challenge #6: Straddle Press to Handstand
I got it! First time I achieve what I consider to be a full Handstand Push-up. As mentioned last week, I was already close but noticed that placing my legs 90 degrees to the wall removed some weight, thus still being away from the closest-to-real thing. The real thing being, of course, a freestanding handstand push-up.

Also, I should mention that I was able, for the first time, to hold a freestanding handstand for 10 seconds! This was actually one of my yearly goals, so I’m really glad to have made it this far. It’s getting easier everyday to practice handstands, so I really feel like I’m getting there. Read more
